Adria Service d.o.o. (Ltd) is a family business that has been involved in sailing and tourism since 1989. We are one of the first companies in the industry with extensive experience in providing quality and reliable charter services.

Today we can boast that we own 8 of the 20 yachts that we manage in marina Izola. But let’s start the story at the beginning. 

The founder of the company started working with charters way back in 1984. He had only one sailing yacht, which he built himself. Then, in 1986, he embarked for the first time on a long voyage with a 35 foot sailboat from Piran (Slovenia) to St. Lucia (Caribbean) where he stayed there for 1 year. 

Later, in 1990, he was part of the team of a Swiss company that established the first charter base in Cuba with eleven Elan 43 yachts. Since then, and until today, he has completed many deliveries of different vessels around the Mediterranean. The last one took place at the end of November 2022 with the sailboat Bavaria 46, from Izola to Turkey, and was completed by the AS team (Boris, Matej and Tim).

As specialists of the Adriatic coast, our offer includes a comprehensive vessel rental service, excellent vessel management offers with charter management programs, vessels in excellent technical conditions and more. The entire team is professional and experienced. 

Our team on the pier is made of knowledgeable people and good sailors, because they learned  sailing as children on the Optimists. On the other hand the office team is highly qualified, with 30 years of experience. All AS employees speak 4-5 languages.

The high percentage of regular guests with more than 20% is also proof that we are doing a good job, that the employees are friendly and professional, and that our vessels are technically flawless.
